San Mamés and Biscay in red and white

One of the initiatives that Athletic Club has been working on in order to stimulate even more so the Red-White atmosphere at San Mamés and, taking into account the suggestions made by the internauts on the Club’s webpage, Athletic would like to make a special appeal to all the fans who are going to the match against Club Atlético Osasuna next Saturday to wear the Club scarf. This idea is to be accompanied by the putting into practice of another; the singing of the Athletic Club song by everyone before the players from both teams walk onto the field.

Athletic Club will collaborate by making 5,000 scarves available for purchase. The scarf, of Italian design, costs 6 euros and, this opportunity can be taken advantage of up to the 29th of April, the Athletic Club vs. Real Madrid home game weekend or until all the garments are sold.

Along these lines and in order to enhance the Red-White ornamentation in the rest of the city and historical territory, Athletic Club would like to make another appeal; the hoisting of our club’s flag, which is already done by hundreds of bars and establishments, in visible places such as balconies, windows and shopping centres.

We’d also like to reiterate the need to keep on wearing Red-White items at all of the matches at San Mamés.

In addition, we’d like to remind everyone that 30 images will be taken of the spectators and that those who appear in them will receive a prize. There are 20 Prestigious Athletic Bihotzez Packs and 10 double tickets to visit the Athletic Museum which includes a guided tour.

With regards to the suggestions made on our webpage, besides those concerning the scarves the most frequent ones are; firstly the mosaic, just like the one organized for the Nastic match, however, it was suggested that a slogan should be included in the future and, secondly the proliferation of flags at The Cathedral though it will be difficult to put this into practice because of the ant-violence law.
