Del Horno, returns to Athletic Club

Athletic Club and Valencia CF have reached an agreement by which the player Asier Del Horno returns on-loan to our organization’s ranks for the 2007-2008 season. Athletic Club will have a purchase option over the player, which could be executed until the end of May 2008, valued at 3 million Euros plus an additional 2 million Euros, once the option is exercised, based on the number of matches Del Horno plays.

The player’s official presentation took place this past Thursday, 30 August at 19:00 hours, at the San Mamés Press Room.

The transfer agreement contemplates the assumption on the part of Athletic Club of 60% of the player’s contract during the current season. Likewise, the agreement also establishes that the player cannot be aligned during either of the matches to be disputed against Valencia this season.
