The Superliga trophy, which was presented to Athletic Club for being the champions of the 2006-07 season by the RFEF last Sunday, is already on display at Athletic Club’s Trophy and Exhibition Room (San Mamés gate 26).

This new cup enriches the space dedicated to women’s football in the Trophy Room, where historical items are on show, as a result of our team having won four league championships in five seasons.

Along with the latest achievement of the team, the first Superliga Cup ever played can be found, as well as a trophy belonging to Athletic Club for winning the Championship three times in a row (2002-03, 2003-04 and 2004-05).

The uniform Nerea Onaindia was wearing and football she used to score the first goal in the history of women’s football at San Mamés on 30 March 2003, and Captain Itziar Gurrutxaga’s uniform and a ball signed by all the team on the day in which Athletic Club, also at the Cathedral, won their fourth Superliga title, they also have a site dedicated to them in the Red-White Museum.
