Training in Alicante

Athletic Club’s first squad held a training session on Monday, 12 November, starting at 19:20 at the Alicante CF Sports Centre. Coach Joaquín Caparrós divided the 21 summoned players into two squads.

On one team the starters in the last Liga match and on the other the remaining players. The first held a lighter session, based on stretching and warming up, whereas the rest emphasised ball exercises.

After the training session the Athletic Club Head Coach offered a press conference.

There were numerous rojiblanco fans present at the training session, as well as players from Alicante CF lower categories. Likewise, former players from the Teo Rastrojo and Asier Garitano club also attended the training.
