Athletic Club and Telefónica renew agreement

Athletic Club and Telefónica have decided to renew the ample collaboration agreement that has united them for the last four years until the end of the current season. This way Telefónica will continue to be Athletic’s official telecommunications supplier, to which they have provided a wide array of advanced services.

According to the agreement reached, Telefónica will have outstanding advertising presence in San Mamés and the Lezama facilities. Likewise, Telefónica will be able to use the Club’s image and that of one of its players for promotional campaigns of its products. Telefónica also foresees the possibility of launching promotions of its products specifically for Athletic Club members.

On the other hand, the cooperation between Telefónica and Athletic Club will also be remarkably noticeable at the Parque Infantil de Navidad (PIN), which was inaugurated last Friday, 14 December. Telefónica will have a one thousand square meter space which will include two football fields, a space for surfing the web with 12 computers and an ‘entertainment’ area dedicated to the digital television Imagenio. On the 3rd of January, it is expected that Athletic first team players share in the games and all the passion of soccer with all those that approach the Telefónica stand.
