Eusebio Ríos has passed away

Eusebio Ríos Fernández, former member of Athletic Club’s coaching squad during the 1997/1998 and 2001/2002 seasons, and father of our ex-player Roberto Ríos, passed away in Portugalete on Saturday, 10 May 2008 at the age of 72. Athletic Club would like to express publicly their condolences to his family and especially to their former player Roberto.

Ríos, was born on 30 May 1935 in Portugalete, he played for Galindo, Ortuella, Arenas, Indautxu and Real Betis. As coach he was in charge of Recreativo, Real Valladolid, Real Murcia and Real Betis.
