Etxeberria and David López, press conference

Joseba Etxeberria stated that we must win the match against Osasuna, the one who loses will be left in a serious situation and perhaps the team with the least fear of losing will be the team who’ll take home the points. Questioned about the manifesto in favour of the Basque National team being called “Euskal Herria” he reiterated that an extensive communiqué was made and clearly supported by the entire team. As to whether the decision to change the name is up to the players, the Captain said that it’s society’s decision, and what is reflected in the communiqué are the players’ opinions.

David López defined the match against his former team as a complicated one, difficult to win and one which must be won. Concerning the Basque National team issue, he said that he agrees with the decision made by his teammates.
