Xabi Etxeita was very happy with his debut as a starter in San Mamés. Playing with a yellow card since the beginning to a certain degree influenced his game, but everything turned out well in the end and he was congratulated by Coach Joaquin Caparrós. He agrees with the decision of the club to appeal his second yellow card, since at no point did he want to waste time. Besides, he knows he’s a Bilbao Athletic player and that, while he can, he’s going to take full advantage of this opportunity, but he is prepared to play with the affiliate team when the coaches so decide.

On the other hand, Gorka Iraizoz declared to be delighted with the victory, again without allowing any goals, and now hopes to continue adding points in Santander.
