Balenziaga on sick leave

Mikel Balenziaga did not travel with the rest of the team to Santander as he is suffering from tonsillitis and running a fever. The rest of the squad left, by coach, Lezama at 10:30 am and arrived in Santander at 11:45 am, with the typical ‘sirimiri’ (drizzle) on the weather scene.

Waiting for them at the doors of the Palacio del Mar Hotel were several fans. Expedition members were scheduled to have lunch at 12:30 hours.
