Goose pimples

‘I got goose pimples’ was the expression most used in and out of the coach which took the expedition to the airport after the morning aperitif of sun and thousands thunderous voices at San Mamés.

What’s more, it was the same at crowded Loiu airport, with the club song being played over the loud speakers and the players who were being hugged until the security guards at the control desk said it was enough; I beg to differ about geese and their pimples. It’s impossible for geese to accumulate so many sensations in so little time and, above all, decipher and transform them into key positiveness.

It’s obvious that whatever happens we have already won. Someone commented that the only thing missing today was to board the gabarra (Athletic boat). And now we have a foot in the plane. So much silence feels strange, it’s raining and, furthermore, the firemen flatter us with a curtain of water in honour and to wish us luck.
