Josean Lekue, the Head of Athletic Club Medical Services, has spoken to the media, on Wednesday 9 December, in the pressroom in Lezama, to inform about the state of the injured and sick players.

Ion Vélez: III degree medial adductor muscle rupture in his right thigh. Undergoing physiotherapy treatment.
Carlos Gurpegi: Tear to the distal third of his right thigh’s internal rectus muscle. Undergoing physiotherapy treatment and is in the advanced stage of his re-adaptation program.
Ustaritz Aldekoaotalora: Tear to the medial adductor muscles of his left thigh. Undergoing physiotherapy treatment and is in the advanced stage of his re-adaptation program.
Igor Gabilondo and Mikel San José: Yesterday, 8 December were unfit to play due to acute gastroenteritis.
Markel Susaeta: Muscular contusion in his right thigh’s quadriceps and also has the flu that is affecting his physical condition considerably. Awaiting evolution.
