Next Wednesday, 29 February, at 17:00 hours, in Sala BBK a new round table of the Thinking Football cycle will be taking place. The discussion will centre on the economic dimensions of football from a global perspective in the past, present and future of soccer organizations with regards to economic scope. Present at the table will be Stefan Szymanski (Economist and co-author of ‘Soccernomics’), Jose Maria Gay de Liébana (Professor of Financial Economics and Accounting from the University of Barcelona) and Joaquin Almunia (European Vice-president and Commissioner responsible for Competition Policy). The debate will be moderated by Ignacio Palacios-Huerta (Professor of Management at the London School of Economics). Admission is free and a simultaneous translation/interpret system will be available to all attendees upon previous presentation of their ID (DNI).
