Cafés Baqué – Official Coffee Presentation

Athletic Club and the Biscayan Company Cafés Baqué have signed an agreement by means of which the coffee company will be able to exclusively operate the Athletic brand with regards to coffee; both in the manufacture and marketing of its products.

The contract shall be for a period of 2 years and will allow Cafés Baqué to advertise its brand as ‘Athletic’s official coffee’. Cafés Baqué, leader in Biscay’s hospitality market, thus reinforces its association with the rojiblanco club, present in the San Mamés publicity for many years.

The license includes, in addition to exploiting the Athletic brand on its products, the execution of different marketing activities in San Mamés stadium as well as Athletic Club’s means and official spaces, with the objective of allowing the club to be an additional means in the positioning of the Baqué brand in the Basque Country.

Cafés Baqué has 120 employees and three regional centres; Iurreta, Oiartzun and Logroño. Its ample activity in support of the sport through the Baqué Foundation, preferably in the formation categories, has in the last years deserved the recognition of both the Basque Government and Biscay’s Provincial Council, having received the awards to the sponsoring company and Bizkaia Kirolak Saria award; the latter of which was received last week at the DFB Palace.
