Athletic Club President, Josu Urrutia, and his Board of directors inaugurated the Athletic Club Museum exhibition ‘San Mamés 1913 – 2013’, the last one to be exposed at this stadium.

This exhibition offers a view of the 100 year history of the stadium, so much from the architectural point of view as from the sport itself. The original plans of the architect Manuel Mª Smith, the inaugural match programme as well as a film thereof, are just some of the aspects that appear in this exhibition along with a 3D film on the architectural developments of the new San Mamés.

Images of goals, many never seen from the 1970s, share the space with photographs taken by fans, membership cards, tickets and match newsletters from this past century.

Rival jerseys, such as that of Dino Zoff used in the 1977 UEFA Final, share the space with the official titles achieved by our club in San Mamés.

And, in memory of all those who have competed on the pitch in order to obtain those victories, a large photograph (20 metres) with all the rojiblanco players that have disputed an official match in San Mamés presides over the Museum.
