San Mamés Demolition

The Athletic Club will undertake, as of 6 June 2013, the phases of demolition of the existing San Mamés stadium; a job that is expected to last until the end of August.

The order with which this work will be executed will be the following:

1. – Removal of seats and non-dangerous debris, first from the Main Grandstand and mid goal stands, followed by the remaining stands.
2. – Removal of fibre cement tiles.
3. – Demolition of the corner located next to the ticket office.
4. – Demolition of the Main Grandstand and half of the goal area stands.
4.1. – Dismantling of the roof beams.
4.2. – Demolition of the Main Grandstand.
4.3. – Demolition of the mid goal stands.
4.4. – Dismantling of the arc.
4.5. – Demolition of the arc supports.
5. – Demolition of the corner stands located next to Ingenieros.
6. – Demolition of the remaining corner stands.
7. – Demolition of the East Stands.
