Iñaki Azkuna has died

After the death on Thursday, 20 March, 2014 of Iñaki Azkuna Urreta, the mayor of Bilbao, Athletic Club would like to join the family in their grief at this time and show their condolences to the relatives and the institution he had represented since he was elected at the municipal elections on June 13, 1999.

Today is a day of mourning for Bilbao and Biscay, but also a day of appreciation of his role. Rest in peace, Mayor Azkuna.
