Everything is set for the dispute of the match between Athletic Club and Fc Shakhtar, corresponding to the second leg of the UEFA Champions League Group Stage MD-1 (20:45, Anastasios Sidiropoulos -GRE-, San Mamés, C+Liga de Campeones).
On Wednesday, 17 September, following UEFA Regulations, the organizational meeting has been held in the San Mamés facilities at 10:30 hours under the direction of the UEFA delegate, the German Ronald Zimmermann, and with the presence, among others, of the referee observer, the Danish Jern Nest Larsen.
Among the decisions made at this meeting, in addition to administrative and security measures to abide by during the match, the decision about the kits to be worn by both teams was also defined. Our club will sport their first kit and the goalkeepers will be donning black jersey, pants and socks.
On the part of FC Shakhtar, the players will be wearing white jerseys (red and black lines), white shorts and white socks, while the goalkeepers will be wearing an all-green kit.
A packed San Mamés is expected, 50,000 spectators, and the presence of 100 Ukrainian followers in the stands. The sky is cloudy and the temperature is 30 degrees in Bilbao, but is expected to be somewhat lower at game time.
