Inauguration of San Mamés Exterior Giant Screen

The San Mamés exterior screen (South Grandstand, with a perfect view from Licensiado Poza Street) will be inaugurated on Friday, 14 August, to 20:30 hours (ahead of the initial deadline), coinciding with the pre-match ceremony of the Supercopa between Athletic Club-FC Barcelona.

The screen is situated at the same location where the mythical shield that adorned the old San Mamés was located.
It is a 15.5 x 9.8 meter Daktronics brand screen. The modules will be made up of NICHIA high-luminous durability LEDs, and total daylight use capability, since the screen will have brightness regulation by means of light sensors.

In a first stage, contents regarding the match that may be the interest of fans will be broadcast. In addition to the above, in future, the giant screen will become an excellent advertising support.
