Ninety minutes for Hope

In the context of the many initiatives arisen from the refugee crisis, Athletic Club, besides reiterating its commitment with those of the Basque Government (via Inter-institutional Board) has decided to join those promoted by the ECA (European Association Club) and Liga de Fútbol Professional, bodies of which it is a member.

In particular, Athletic Club will actively participate in the ’90 Minutes for Hope’ campaign; a voluntary campaign promoted by the ECA among its affiliate clubs and that consists of every participant club in a European competition (in our case UEL Groups Phase) donates one euro for each ticket sold in the first European appointment. The proceeds will be centralized and destined to one or more organizations that have proven experience in the attention of refugees in Europe.

Thus, Athletic Club will contribute to this campaign with one euro for every ticket sold for the match between Athletic Club-FC Augsburg, to be disputed on Thursday, 17 September, in San Mamés.
