The second edition of the ESSMA Summit will be held in San Mamés on the 19th and 20th of January. This is the most awaited event organised by the European Stadium and Safety Management Association in collaboration with EPFL, ECA and ICSS and in which some 300 participants are expected.

For the opening ceremony, to be held on 19 January at 13:00 hours, President Josu Urrutia and the Mayor of Bilbao, Juan Maria Aburto will be participating and it will be open to the media (Access, Gate 12).

On the first day of the summit, there will be a workshop on the development of stadiums and information referring to new European stadium projects or the renovation thereof.

Revealed will be the points of views and experiences of Athletic Club, host of the event (‘Unique Club, different stadium’), Sporting Kansas City FC, FC Barcelona, SC Freiburg, Eurostadium Brussels and a series of agents, in addition to a complete Tour of the facilities.

On the second day, each participant will be able to define his own program. Currently scheduled, presentations by FC Copenhagen, Aviva Stadium, Valencia CF, Legia Warsaw, Twickenham Stadium and Paris Saint Germain are expected.
