The inaugural day of the fifth edition of the Thinking Football Film Festival, the cinema and football festival organised by the Athletic Club Foundation and Sala BBK, with the main sponsorship of Euskaltel, will take place tomorrow, Monday, March 13 at 7:00 pm at Sala BBK.

The film Inside A Volcano (2016) will be screened, which tells the story of a team that made the world turn its gaze in their direction when it became the smallest nation ever to reach the finals of a major football championship. The screening will be attended by the director and the producer of the film, Saevar Gudmundsson and Solvy Tryggvason who will answer questions from the audience after the film.

Before the film, the coach of the Athletic Club women’s team, Joseba Agirre, will present the 2016 Thinking Football Audience Award to the Nepali director Bhojraj Bhat, for his film “Sunakali”. The girl protagonist of the moving documentary, which surprised everyone last year by winning the audience award, will also be at the event. Nerea Lupardo, Director of Institutional Relations of Euskaltel, will present an Athletic Club T-shirt to Sunakali, in recognition of her struggle and passion for football.
