The Pass, winner of the Thinking Football Film Festival 2017

The British film “The Pass” (2016), directed by Ben A. Williams and produced by Duncan Kenworthy, has been selected by audiences at the Thinking Football Film Festival as the best film of the 2017 edition
Based on a play and made up of three acts, the film tells the relationship between Jason and Ade, two nineteen-year olds, who are Academy players at a famous London football club. Team-mates and friends since they were eight years old, they have been called up to make their first team débuts in the Champions League. They are sharing a hotel room in Romania. They should be sleeping, but they are too excited, so they spend the time in their room eating, playing, skipping, mocking each other, fighting… and then Jason kisses Ade.
