Replacing the grass at San Mames

From November 7th, the current turf of San Mames will be replaced by the deterioration it will suffer after the MTV concert scheduled for Saturday November 3rd.

It will be installed 7.500 m2 of hybrid grass with mesh, cultivated in Cáceres and which will be in optimum condition to be harvested, transported and placed in San Mames in the first fortnight of November.

The works for removing the current turf and installing the new one, previous improvement of the original substrate and its levelling, will be carried out in the two weeks after the mentioned concert. The objective is guaranteeing the good condition of the grass for LaLiga’s match planned in San Mames against Getafe on November 25th at 12:00 noon.
