Today at 7:00 pm, the Thinking Football Film Festival gets under way with the screening of the film “Nossa Chape”, based on the plane crash suffered by the Brazilian team Chapecoense on November, 2016.

After the inaugural speech by Athletic Club’s chairman, Aitor Elizegi, and prior to the screening of the feature film “Nossa Chape”, José Ángel Iribar will present the 2018 Audience Award to the director Stewart Sugg for his film “Kenny”, which was inspired by the life of the legendary Kenny Dalglish.

After the screening, a cineforum will be held in which three distinguished guests will take part: Michael Zimbalist, the film’s director, and his brother Jeff; Julián Duque, the co-director; and Rafael Henzel, who was in the plane crash and was one of the six survivors of the tragedy.
