Last training, in San Mamés

This morning, Joseba Agirre’s team held its last preparatory session in San Mamés, before tomorrow’s vital match. With the exception of Yulema Corres and Maite Oroz, who are still in recovery phase, the coach has all his players to face Levante UD. On a turf in magnificent conditions, Athletic Club has carried out an intense work session before concentrating for the Sunday Liga’s encounter.

After the work session, the coach Joseba Agirre has appeared in the Jose Iragorri press room to analyse a match in which “there are many people working and preparing the stadium for us to play and we have the obligation to give the 100%. Asked by the rival, Agirre has pointed out that tomorrow is going to be a “difficult match, Levante made a team to fight for the title, has important players with many battles”. In spite of everything it has appealed to the winning and fighting character of this team since they are going to play a “special match that we face with a lot of desire after two defeats and to remove the thorn in the flesh from the match here against Atletico Madrid”.
