“I appreciate very much the Athletic tribute”

Danel Elezkano, recent winner of the Hand Double Tournament together with Beñat Rezusta, will take the honor kick off at the beginning of the match against Rayo Vallecano. Taking advantage of the occasion, the pelotari has offered us a small interview in which he talks about his condition as an athleticzale.

The striker tells us that, thanks to his dad, he has been Athletic’s follower since he was a child and, therefore, the tribute he will receive this Sunday in San Mamés is something he will keep in his heart for life. Just like the rest of the unconditional red-and-white fans, Danel confesses that he also thinks the lions will qualify for the European qualifiers this year.
