Iturraspe and Rico will not continue in Athletic Club

Athletic Club has informed players Ander Iturraspe and Mikel Rico, whose contracts will end the 30th of June, the decision of not extending their contracts.

Ander Iturraspe has been part of Athletic Club’s first team for the last 11 seasons with 320 official matches to his credit. Mikel Rico has done it in the last 6 seasons and has 176 official matches to his credit.

Both were part of the squad that won the Supercup title in 2015.

Athletic Club would like to thank both players for their commitment, dedication and professionalism throughout this time and wishes them all the best in their personal and sporting future.
