Jokin Ezkieta’s signing up

Athletic Club has reached an agreement with goalkeeper Jokin Ezkieta, who has signed until June 2023 after being released from Fútbol Club Barcelona.

Ezkieta (Villava 1996) is a goalkeeper trained in the Osasuna youth categories. In the summer of 2015, he joined the Barcelona affiliate. During that season, he played on loan in Sabadell and for the last two years he has played in Barcelona B.

“In the goal we are the reflection of how we are in life,” he says to define himself. “I consider myself a calm person and that’s how I reflect it in the goal. I like to command, to be attentive, to communicate with the defence and then I think I’m fast and I like to use my height for aerial play.

Jokin Ezkieta’s termination clause will be 45 million.
