First day in Boltaña

The high temperatures, protagonists in the opening of the stage of the Athletic Club feminine in the Aragonese Pyrenees.

The Athletic Club ladies’ team was presented last Friday in Lezama and today, Monday, July 22, has begun its six days of pre-season stage at the Hotel Barceló Monasterio de Boltaña. The temperature is around 35 degrees so the training sessions will be at first and last minute to avoid the heat of the Aragonese Pyrenees.

The coach of the first female team, Ángel Villacampa; his assistant Ángel Vélez and the physical trainer, Javier Aguado, have devised a first session as a contact with the natural grass field of the town of Huesca. The series of continuous race and exercises of possession for the red-and-white in their first day of concentration have suffered greatly by the high temperatures.

Manex Sagarna has exercised the goalkeepers Ainhoa Tirapu, Andere Leguina and the new incorporation under the posts, Andrea de la Nava. The sports director, Joseba Agirre, also participates in this concentration that will extend until next Saturday 27, when the red and white expedition will return to Bilbao after lunch.
