Athletic Club never travels alone. It does not matter the place or the time of the year. Before the friendly match this afternoon in Perugia against AS Roma, two red-and-white groups have decided to visit their team and have shared a few minutes with the president of Athletic Club, Aitor Elizegi, and several managers and players of the first team, with those who have shared experiences and stories.
La Peña Los Leones Italianos, composed of about 150 members, will turn 20 years in a few months. Faithful to their colours, they have come expressly from Torino to cheer up the team of their heart, from which they have been able to wear an Athletic Club shirt signed by the red-and-white players.
The history of Athletic Club Bastia it is also remarkable: in 2012 some passionate followers decided to refound the team of their city betting on signing only players from their locality, of about 20,000 inhabitants, also implanting the colours of Athletic Club in their clothing: red-and-white shirt and white pants in its first kit.
