Bilbao Athletic starts playing at Haro

The state football bronze category kicks off this weekend in the four groups that make up the category. After a pre-season that showed a balance of three victories, four draws and a single defeat, the red-and-white subsidiary will debut on Sunday 25 at 18.00 hours in the El Mazo de Haro stadium.

As every season, the Bilbao Athletic presents more than a dozen new faces, between the players who have been promoted from the Basconia CD and the signings made from other clubs.

In the press conference held this morning at the Lezama facilities, Etxeberria has assured that the team is “ready to start the competition”. On the style he wants to implement, the mister has opted for the “intensity”: “The way to play must be fast, we have quality for it. He has also been asked about the new faces of the group: “The young footballers who have ascended from the CD Basconia have level and are demonstrating a good mentality”.

Group II of the Second Division B, where Bilbao Athletic will again be included, has undergone a remodelling and this campaign will welcome the clubs of Castilla y León. Another of the particularities of this course is in the fixed numbers and names that will wear all the footballers registered in the category.
