Success of our lower categories teams

The Athletic Club’s quarry teams are in excellent condition. Cadet A has been playing for the past four days in the XIV Morozov Cup in St. Petersburg, where he made his debut by beating Olympiacos FC 3-0, before also defeating Juventus FC 1-3 and closing the Group Phase with a 2-2 draw against FC Zenit. RB Leipzig were the rivals in a semi-final in which our puppies won 1-0, the same result as in Sunday’s final against SL Benfica in which Bittor Larrauri’s goal gave the trophy to the red-and-white.

On the other hand, the Juvenil A has raised the trophy of the XXXI edition of the Torneo Villa de Portugalete with full victories and without fitting a single goal. He won 0-3 to the Portugalete selection, 1-0 to Real Racing Club and in the final, disputed this Sunday, to Deportivo Alavés by 3 to 0, with two goals from Nico Williams and one from Goti.
