Levante UD ladies’ team was the rival that provided the draw for the calendar of the Primera Iberdrola for Athletic Club. The Levante team finished third last year in the regularity tournament and is not willing to lower the bar. The whole team aspires to return to be at the top of the table and for it has been strengthened in a remarkable way. First of all, María Pry has been chosen as coach this year. After seven years as a technician of Real Betis Balompié, the Sevillian has joined the ambitious project of Levante UD. The Andalusian will try to settle the proposal of showy football that was seen in its passage by Betis.
The Levante UD is very compensated with players of great projection as the young strikers Alba Redondo and Eva Navarro – their job will be to make forget the absence of Charlyn – and others with a great experience as Sonia Bermudez or Banini. The new incorporations make Levante UD an even more complicated rival. Some of the signings are those of defenders Jucinara and Rocío Gálvez or the interior from Betis Gemma Gili.
The match against Levante UD ladies’ team will be played at 12.00 pm tomorrow and heat is expected in Valencia at that time. The sports facilities of the Valencian club in Buñol will be the scene of a match that is expected to be very intense and where the two teams will fight to get the first three points in the league.
