After the training session, Iñigo Martínez has talked about zurigorri news in a press conference. The defender is satisfied after recovering from the physical issues that made him miss the league start: ‘I’ve been starting badly for some years because of injuries and this time it hasn’t been easy because in the end I had to be out of the pitch for a long time. It’s going to be very complicated because Mallorca has just gone up to First Division and has a lot of desire, but we have full confidence in our chances. Iñigo Martínez also referred to the last call-up for the Spanish national team, in which his teammate Unai Núñez has been summoned: ‘I’m 100% happy for Unai. He deserves it because every time he has played he has done it wonderfully. He is a teammate with whom I spend a lot of time in the changing room and I’m very happy that he has been called and that he has been able to make his debut. Personally I knew that it would be difficult to join the list because I had not played the two previous matches. I’m calm because I know that if things go well here, I’ll have my chances to return to the Spanish national team‘.
