San Mamés, green for mitochondrial diseases

On the occasion of the Mitochondrial Disease Awareness Week, the Athletic Club joins AEPMI – Association of Patients with Mitochondrial Pathologies – to give visibility and support to patients and their families to improve their quality of life.

The functional failures of the mitochondria prevent the cells of the different organs of the body from maintaining their energy and development. They can affect any age and any system of the human body. Today, there is no cure for this pathology.
