Athletic Club Museoa exhibits a t-shirt of Roberto, historical player of the Valencia, donated by Argoitia
The Museum object presented in the San Mamés Authorities Box for the match against Valencia CF is the shirt worn by Roberto Gil Esteve, Roberto, in the 1967 Cup final between the two teams.
Roberto, a legend of the team, with 365 games played during the 13 seasons he wore the Valencian shirt as captain, had the honor of raising the trophy that was competing, as the team from Levante won that final by 2 goals to 1.
After the match, Roberto exchanged his t-shirt with Jose Mari Argoitia (who scored Athletic’s goal in that final), who in turn generously donated it to Athletic Club Museoa.
