Double lightening in San Mamés

Double lightening in San Mamés

The Stadium dyed in green and pink raise awareness and make both, patients suffering from mental issues and SXF rare disease, more visible.

San Mamés Stadium keeps supporting different solidarity causes, and last October 9 and 10 lighted up in green and pink, respectively, supporting and promoting World Mental Health Day and Fragile X Syndrome Day or SXF.

On Wednesday, Athletic Club, in collaboration with AVIFES (Vizcaya Association of Relatives and People with Mental Illness), lighted up the stadium in green to support all the people suffering mental illnesses, to raise awareness about their day to day reality and  put on the table the mental health of the population as a priority.

Yesterday, Thursday, San Mamés dyed pink, as part of a joint initiative shared with the Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases (FEDER) whose aim is to make SXF visible, a rare genetic disease characterized by an intellectual deficit between mild and severe that can be associated with behavioural disorders and physical traits characteristic.
