All set up for the 10th Edition of Letras y Fútbol (Literature and Football)
The literature and football meetings of the festival will be held in the central ring of San Mamés, from Monday 11 to Friday 15.
A conversation between former player Jorge Valdano and writer Benjamín Prado, moderated by editor Miguel Aguilar, will open the 10th edition of the Letras y Fútbol Festival. It will be the first of five literature and football meetings that will take place from November 11 to 15, Monday to Friday, at 7 p.m. in the Sala Este (East Room) in the central ring of San Mamés, access gate 14, free admission limited to capacity. The attendees will have the chance to enjoy a free beer, courtesy of San Miguel.
On Tuesday, José Roberto Torero, Juan Pablo Villalobos and Miqui Otero will be the ones to join the conversation. On Wednesday, in Basque, Aritz Gorrotxategi, Martín Etxeberria and Jon Kortazar will take part in the debate. On Thursday’s session Kike Martín, Carlos Ranedo, Laura Mintegi, Santiago Segurola and Jon Rivas will talk about Athletic Club in our literature. Ferrán Soriano and Lu Martin will be the participants of the closing debate. Further information about them all and the festival itself can be found aquí.
Book Clubs
Concurrently, the Athletic Club Foundation will organize four special sessions of the Athletic Reading Club, that will be held at 5 p.m. in the Biblioteca Foral.
Letras y Fútbol is organised by the Athletic Club Foundation and is mainly sponsored by Diputación Foral de Bizkaia, San Miguel and the Reading and Book Observatory of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport.
