The Athletic Club players Ainhoa Tirapu and Jone Ibañez must pass through surgery in the next days due to their respective injuries. The last October 19, Ibañez suffered an injury in the knee during the match against Real Betis in Lezama. Finally, the medical services of the club diagnosed a dislocation in the left kneecap for which the midfielder will have to be operated at the end of November.
On the other hand, the last weekend the goalkeeper Ainhoa Tirapu suffered a fracture in the proximal phalanx of the fifth finger of her left hand. The injury occurred on the eve of the match against UD Granadilla in the Ciudad Deportiva Javier Pérez in Tenerife. Ainhoa will be operated this Thursday, November 7, at the Virgen Blanca clinic in Bilbao.
