Dani García asserts the team should have an “efficient defense” to get the three points against Levante UD.

Dani García faced the media two days before the clash in San Mamés against Levante UD, a very demanding match against a team performing a good start of the season. To get those three points, the midfielder from Zumarraga, has highlighted the importance supporters have. “We did see that last year with the change performed in the second round, when San Mamés became a party. Usually, during the last minutes of the matches, supporters do catch you. Being together is what makes San Mamés the place to play. Their support during the last minutes pushes us and does good to the team”, has asserted.

Regarding the clash against Levante UD, Dani García has pointed out the keys to get those three points, “being effective in the defense, do not admit any counterattack. We need to be cautious with players like Morales, Bardhi or Campaña”.

He also mentioned the trend the team had lately, acknowledging, “it is important for us to have a good start, as it happened against Espanyol or Real. It is essential to have strong starts and get ahead of them”.

Regarding his professional status, the midfielder, has played all the minutes during this season, asserted, “I go to each of the sessions with the idea of getting the position”. At the same time, he stated “he is more confident than last year. This year, at least, I am getting less cards and I am complaining less, doing well what the manager requests from me”.
