With the satisfaction of going to the league break next week with 20 points, Gaizka Garitano has analyzed Athletic Club’s victory, comeback included, against Levante UD at San Mamés: “We didn’t know how to handle the fact of being losing during a game until now. We’d insisted about keeping a cool head and that’s why we tried to keep the ball rolling, because we were superior.”
Garitano has underlined his team’s attacking performance in a match where the red-and-white side made 23 shots: “We’ve shown our speed on the flanks, the game on the inside, with Unai and Iker playing together. We’ve also seen how we’ve played more directly at set pieces, like San José at the end. I think we alternated Athletic’s offensive options really well.”
