Ferrán Soriano closes Letras y Fútbol

The X edition of the festival ends with a conversation between the executive director of the Manchester City and the journalist Lu Martin

Today will be celebrated in San Mamés, at 7.00 pm, the last day of Letras y Fútbol 2019 with the intervention of one of the greatest experts in the football industry, Ferrán Soriano (Barcelona, 1967), general director of City Football Group, the football holding created around Manchester City, and author of the book “La pelota no entra por azar”, which has sold more than 100,000 copies in the nine languages in which it has been published. He will be accompanied by Lu Martin (Barcelona, 1967), a journalist who has worked for El País and Sport, and has covered three Olympic Games, five World Cups and five European Cups, among other major sporting events.

About yesterday’s session

Yesterday’s session included a conversation about the role that Athletic Club has had in literature throughout history. Santiago Segurola, Laura Mintegi, Jon Rivas, Carlos Ranedo and Kike Martín participated. On the other hand, the late journalist José María Múgica (1935-1993), one of the most famous chroniclers in the history of Athletic, received a commemorative award. Before that, Ainhoa Tirapu talked about her book “Bizitza eskukadaka” at the Reading Club held at the Regional Library.
