Bilbao Athletic and Basconia stand out this weekend
Among the weekend results of our low categories, are to highlight the victories achieved by the teams directed by Joseba Etxeberria and Patxi Salinas, respectively
Weekend with plenty of victories for our youth academy. Bilbao Athletic won again far from Lezama, beating CD Calahorra in the final minutes to return to play-off positions for promotion. CD Basconia continued on winning streak and achieve another victory, taking three points in Artunduaga against Deusto to move up to fifth place in Group IV of Third Division. In addition, the ladies’ team achieved their second consecutive victory in the Reto Iberdola Norte by beating Pozuelo in Lezama. Thus, remains in second place, three points behind leaders FC Barcelona B.
Juniors teams obtained victories too. The A won again in Lezama 4-1 against Antiguoko, so they still continue on the top of the Division of Honor. The B won by the minimum in Maiona against Danok Bat. The team directed by Jon Solaun are leaders for one more week. The Women C also achieved a victory in Eleizalde by 4-5.
To finish up, the Cadets team fulfil with their respective commitments in Lezama and got victories. Cadets A beats Kostkas and Cadets B Gernika to continue in the first place of their leagues. Women Cadets also obtained the three points against Biak-bat.
