Aitor Seguín, transferred to the Barakaldo CF

Athletic Club and Barakaldo Football Club have reached an agreement for the left-handed winger of the subsidiary, Aitor Seguín, to play the rest of the season on loan in the Barakaldo CF. The player from Eibar had been training with the team from Lasesarre for several days, but the official transfer has not taken place until today.

Seguín, who is 24 years old and arrived at Athletic in childhood, starts a new period to try to forget about the injuries he is suffering from since 2016. His left foot is considered one of Lezama’s most promising, having been called up by Marcelo Bielsa for a UEFA Europa League match in Helsinki and, under the guidance of Cuco Ziganda, played 28 matches in the second division, scoring three goals.
