Vanessa Gimbert’s test of 200
The defense, which will be 40 years old next April, will face an amusing test on the two hundred matches with the red-and-white t-shirt
Last Sunday Vanesa Gimbert (19-04-1980) made 200 official matches as a player of Athletic Club. Since her debut as a lioness at 33 years old, the player from Bergara has become a reference point, not only at the club but also in all state football, as next April she will turn 40 years old, being the oldest active player in the Primera Iberdrola, a title that she curiously shares in La Liga with Aritz Aduriz, (11-02-1981), also “harvest of the 80s”.
Gimbert has a record of 86 consecutive first team matches and is the 14th player in the historical ranking of matches played. After reaching the bicentennial with the red-and-white t-shirt, Vanessa has faced an amusing test about how much she knows about the 200 matches played with Athletic Club.
