Villalibre “The match against Getafe is very important”

Asier Villalibre appeared in a press conference right after the penultimate training session of the week in Lezama before the league match to be held on Sunday in San Mamés (16.00 h) against Getafe CF. The red-and-white striker emphasized the importance of winning the match against a team ranked fourth in LaLiga: “We are very eager to take the three points at home. It’s a very important game and we have to play for the win.”

The striker from Gernika has analysed his good moment, with several outstanding performances in recently: “I had not had any pressure to play, I was just focused on training well for when the opportunity came. What has changed now? Nothing, it’s just the moments of football. I think that when I was needed I took advantage of it, and what I have to do is keep working to have more minutes”.

Regarding the draw of Copa del Rey and the resulting match against FC Barcelona to be played next week in San Mamés, Villalibre pointed out: “The most important thing is that we’re playing at home. We are very happy to be able to play at San Mamés because we have shown that we can beat anyone at our home field. We´ll give our best shot”.
