Dani García made his particular record yesterday in the derby by playing every minute of LaLiga tournament, as the captain of the team in the 22 previous matches. Thus, the midfielder has played 1980 consecutive minutes in the domestic championship, a figure only overtaken by the defender Andoni Iraola that in the season 2010-11 when he played 2.160 consecutive minutes.
The yellow card that Dani García received yesterday at the minute 81, will not let him play the next clash of La Liga. He has been playing with four yellow cards since round 15th (December 1), when he was last warned.
