The daily recommendation regarding the videos contained in our official Youtube channel is today concerned with the documentary A Century and 90 minutes. The legend of The Cathedral, directed by the journalist Unai Larrea.
The documentary, filmed between November 2012 and completed at the same time as the demolition work on the old San Mamés, includes interviews with Athletic Club players from different periods and scenes from the historic matches experienced there.
At the same time, the red-and-white footballers share their impressions of The Cathedral of football with players from rival contemporary teams. Iribar, Cedrún, Julen Guerrero, Gurpegui, Txetxu Rojo, Cruyff, Del Bosque, Casillas or Xavi give their opinion about what was the predecessor of the stadium we know today.
A century and 90 minutes was directed by the journalist Unai Larrea and produced by Baleuko, ETB and Canal+, with the collaboration of Athletic Club to pay tribute to the centenary of the mythical San Mamés stadium.
