Today on our YouTube channel we want to remember the last game by Athletic Club in LaLiga before the break, played exactly one month ago: the victory (1-4) against Real Valladolid at José Zorrilla Stadium.

Athletic arrived to Valladolid after qualifying for the Cup final three days earlier in Granada, and with the intention of extending those good feelings.

Despite the effort made at Los Cármenes, our team was soon ahead on the scoreboard, thanks to Unai López’s goal in the 4th minute. Raúl García achieved the second before the 30th minute, and with that advantage we reached the half-time. Although Sandro reduced distances, Williams’ goals in the 88th minute and Córdoba’s in the 93rd certified the final 1-4.

This game ended a great week that nobody thought would be the last with football until now.
