Yesterday was the Basque derby of the first leg of LaLiga Santander 2016/2017 against Real Sociedad in San Mamés; and today, on our YouTube channel, we remember Athletic Club’s triumph by 0-2 in the second leg match in Anoeta corresponding to the 27th matchday.
The first goal of that rainy afternoon of March 12, 2017, came after a penalty by Xabi Prieto on Yeray that Raúl García was in charge of transforming.
Already in the second half, a pass from Odriozola to Rulli that fell short was very skillfully taken advantage of by a Williams who in the 56th minute signed the final 0-2.
